Hotel Golkonda

We started Hotel Golkonda over in Shalivahana Nagar quite some time ago. It’s located right near the 16-11-741/D/106 spot in Dilsukhnagar. Hyderabad is a busy place, and we just wanted to have a spot where people could stay without too much fuss. Most days it’s just us keeping things tidy and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever walks through the door. My name is Helen, and I’ve been around this neighborhood for years now. The building isn't anything fancy, but it gets the job done when you need a place to sleep. Sometimes the traffic outside in Dilsukhnagar can get a bit loud, but that is just how life goes in this part of town. We don't have a big team or anything like that. It's mostly just a few of us making sure things work. We spend a lot of time fixing small things that break or talking to neighbors who stop by. If you are looking for a place that feels like a regular house, this might be it. We try to keep the floors swept and the lights on. It isn't always perfect, but we do what we can with what we have here. People usually find us because they have work nearby or family to visit. We just keep our doors open and try to be helpful when someone asks for directions or a clean towel. That’s pretty much the whole story of our little hotel here.
