We work out of Sai Surya Apartments in the Surya Enclaves area of Trimulgherry. It’s a residential neighborhood, which makes for a pretty calm work environment. Our office is in Flat No 103. We represent Holland America Cruises here in India, specifically under the Bibby India Ltd name. It might seem strange to have a cruise agency in a residential flat, but it works for us. We don’t need a big storefront on a main road. Most of our work is done over the phone or through email anyway. We spend the day talking about ships and cabin categories and sailing dates. It’s a lot of detail-oriented stuff. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for the cruise systems to load, which can be annoying. We drink a lot of coffee while we wait. The office is small and full of brochures and maps. It’s just a few of us here. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. Trimulgherry is a nice part of town, even if it’s a bit far from the city center. We like the quiet. We aren’t some massive call center with hundreds of people. It’s just a small team trying to help people get their cruise holidays sorted out. We don’t use any fancy scripts when we talk to people. We just tell them what’s available and help them book it. It’s simple and it works for everyone involved. Just a small cruise agency in an apartment.
