Harinis Restaurant & Bar

We are over here at 3-C Shanthisadan in Karkhana. It’s been a while now that we’ve been running Harinis Restaurant & Bar. Most days it’s just the usual routine of getting the shutters up and making sure the chairs are lined up right before the lunch crowd starts trickling in. The kitchen gets hot pretty fast once the stoves are lit. You can hear the fans whirring in the background all day long. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the lane for a bit while they drop off crates of soda and other supplies. It’s a busy spot especially when the sun goes down and people are looking for a place to sit for a while after work. We don’t do anything fancy here, just keeping things clean and making sure there is enough food ready. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. Karkhana is a loud area with plenty of traffic moving past our door all the time. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly folks from around the 500009 zip code who just want a quiet corner. Our staff has been around for a bit and they know how the regulars like things. It is not some big corporate operation, just a local place where we keep the lights on and try to get the orders out on time without too much fuss or extra talk.
