Hampshire Plaza Hotel

Hampshire Plaza Hotel is right in the thick of it in Hyderabad. You’ll find us at Plot No 508 in Rankone Towers. The lobby is usually a mix of people checking in with heavy bags and others just waiting for a ride. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are ready and the hallways are clear. It’s a tall building, and looking out the windows, you can see the city traffic just crawling along. The staff here is a small group, and we’ve all been working together for a bit. We don’t have those scripted speeches you hear in big chains; we just talk to people like normal. If someone needs an extra towel or wants to know where the best biryani is, we just tell them. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow when the hotel is full, but that’s just part of life here. We have a lot of travelers who are just passing through for a night or two. It’s a lot of work keeping a place this size going, from the kitchen to the laundry. We don't try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a solid place to stay when you’re in this part of India. The days go by fast when you’re constantly moving around the towers, checking on things and talking to the guests who come from all over. We're just a local hotel doing our best to keep things running.
