Halka Pulka Restaurant

Running Halka Pulka Restaurant keeps us on our feet all day. We are right opposite the NTR Stadium in Gandhi Nagar, so we see a lot of people coming and going. Domalguda is a busy place, and by the time lunch rolls around, the kitchen is usually pretty hot. We just serve simple food to whoever walks through the door. It is not a very big place, just enough tables for the locals and maybe some folks who are visiting the stadium. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the tables are wiped down after the rush. The traffic outside can get really loud, but you stop noticing it after a few weeks of working here. We have a small team, mostly just family and a couple of helpers from the neighborhood. It is honest work, even if it gets a bit stressful when everyone wants their food at the same time. We don't have any fancy menus or decorations. It is just a basic spot for a meal. We usually start early in the morning to get the ingredients ready and stay until the last dish is washed. Being in the 500029 area means we get to know the regulars pretty well. It’s just a normal restaurant life with its ups and downs every single day of the week.
