Goodlands is located in Tarnaka, specifically over by N. Nagaraju’s place in Secunderabad. It’s a busy area to be in, and this part of town has its own rhythm that never really stops. We’ve been running things here for a bit, mostly focusing on the day-to-day operations of the hotel. It’s about keeping the rooms ready and making sure the building stays in good shape for whoever walks in. People come and go at all hours, so there is always someone around the front desk or moving through the hallways with a mop or linens. It isn't always quiet, especially with the traffic outside on the main road, but we’re used to it by now. The staff here mostly lives nearby, and we’ve gotten to know the regulars who stop by for a room or a chat. We spend a lot of time on maintenance and just basic housekeeping tasks. It’s practical work. Sometimes there are issues with the plumbing or the lights, and we just have to get them fixed as they happen without much fuss. The office part handles the bookings and the paperwork, which can get a bit piled up on busy weeks. We don't try to be something we aren't; it’s just a place for people to stay when they are in this part of Secunderabad. Being near the Tarnaka area means we see a lot of different people every day. We just keep the doors open.
