Working for Gmr Hyderabad Intl. Airport Ltd. means being part of the huge machine that keeps the city connected. We are based right here in Hyderabad, obviously. It’s a massive place with thousands of people moving through every single hour. My part in it is just one small piece of the puzzle. It’s not like those fancy brochures say, it’s mostly just hard work, lots of walking, and making sure the lights stay on and the gates stay clear. Dealing with the airport in Hyderabad is a 24-hour job. There’s no real downtime. Even at three in the morning, things are happening. We have to deal with delays, grumpy passengers, and all the security rules. It’s a lot of pressure but you get used to the noise of the engines and the crowds. We don't really have a specific office address other than just the airport itself. It’s like a small city of its own. I’m just a regular staff member here. We don't go around saying we are the best, we just try to make sure the planes take off and land when they are supposed to. Sometimes things go wrong, like the weather or technical stuff, and we just have to fix it. It's an honest day's work in a very loud environment. We spend our shifts checking bags or directing people to the right terminal. It's a busy life but it pays the bills for us.
