F&B Controller

We’ve been working out of our spot in Varalaxmi Nagar for a while now. It’s right there in Vepagunta. People usually know where the 2-102/2 building is if they live around here. Mostly we deal with food and beverage stuff, keeping things organized for local businesses. It isn't a fancy office with big glass walls or anything. It’s just a practical space where we handle the daily numbers and stock checks. My cousin helped set up the desk and the files when we first moved in. Visakhapatnam is getting busier every year, especially this part of town. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear the phone, but we get by. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work right and make sure our clients don't run out of what they need. If you're walking by in Varalaxmi Nagar, you’ll see our small sign. It’s a quiet enough area most mornings. We spend a lot of time on spreadsheets and making calls to suppliers. It’s the kind of work that doesn't sound exciting to everyone, but it’s what keeps the kitchens and bars running smooth. We've lived in Vizag our whole lives, so we know the local markets pretty well. The weather gets humid, so we keep the fans going all day. That’s pretty much how we spend our time here. It’s just us, doing the work we know how to do without making a big fuss about it.
