Engineering Staff College Of India

We are located at 6-1-85/1&2 on the second floor of Vishveshwaraya Bhavan. It’s right across from the Telephone Bhavan in Khairatabad. The Engineering Staff College Of India has been operating out of this spot for quite some time. Khairatabad is a busy junction, so there is always a lot of honking and movement outside. Getting to the second floor is part of our daily exercise. The building itself, Vishveshwaraya Bhavan, has a bit of history to it and you can feel it in the thick walls and the old-style layout. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Most of what we have is practical and has been here for years. The staff knows the area well, especially the best places to get lunch near the Telephone Bhavan. It’s a working environment, plain and simple. We deal with a lot of paperwork and people coming in for different programs. Sometimes the elevator acts up, so we take the stairs. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls; it’s just a set of offices where we get things done. We don't have a mission statement hanging in the lobby. We just know what we have to do when we walk through the doors every morning. It’s a bit loud because of the street traffic, but it’s our corner of the city and we’re used to it. The location in Khairatabad is convenient for most people who need to visit us here. We just keep the place open and running every day.
