We spend most of our days here in Mettuguda, right across from Suvarna Apartments. It gets pretty busy around lunch and dinner time. You can usually hear the scooters pulling out for deliveries and the oven timers going off in the back. This spot at 12-7-107/2-3 has been our base for a while now. It’s not a fancy office, just a place where we get the dough ready and take orders over the counter or the phone. Some people stop by on their way home from work because the location is easy to spot. The street outside can be a bit loud with the Secunderabad traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it. We just focus on keeping the kitchen running and making sure the boxes are stacked up. Sometimes the rain slows things down, or the power acts up, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most of us have been working here long enough to know the regular customers from the neighborhood. It’s a lot of physical work, standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the ovens. We keep the floor swept and the counters wiped down, trying to stay organized when the rush hits. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation where we try to get things done without too much fuss. We don’t have any big speeches to make, we just show up at Mettuguda and start the day.
