Devee Brick Industry

We spend most of our days here at Plot No. 102 in Ravi Residency. It’s right on Road No. 4 in Sharada Nagar. Most folks in Dilsukhnagar know the area well. Devee Brick Industry isn't a fancy place. We just make bricks. There's usually a lot of dust and the sounds of work going on from early morning. Being in a residential pocket like Ravi Residency means we have to keep things orderly, but a brick yard is always a bit messy. It gets hot during the summer, but we keep the operations moving. People come by to ask about loads for their small house projects or bigger building sites nearby. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The roads around here get busy, especially Road No. 4. Sometimes it's a bit of a squeeze for the bigger vehicles, but we manage. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. It’s mostly just us outside or in the small shed. We handle the clay, watch the firing, and make sure the stacks are straight. It's honest work. If you walk past Sharada Nagar, you’ll probably see the piles of red blocks. We don't do much talking; we mostly just work. It's what we know. The sun goes down and we lock up. Then we do it again tomorrow. That's pretty much the whole story of our little setup here in Dilsukhnagar.
