Daddys Food

If you are walking around Srinagar Colony, you might find us at Daddys Food. We are located at number 102, which is really close to the Padmaja Court building. It’s a nice enough area, though parking can be a real headache some days. We use this space to handle all our food prep and orders. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us in the kitchen and one person handling the phone. We don’t have a big sign outside, so people usually find us by word of mouth or by looking for the court nearby. The kitchen stays pretty busy from lunch until late in the evening. We decided to call it Daddys Food because we wanted it to feel like the kind of food you get at home. There is always something bubbling on the stove and the counters are usually covered in fresh ingredients. We try to keep the place clean and tidy, but when the orders start coming in fast, things can get a bit hectic. We aren’t a big chain or anything like that. We just like making food that people enjoy eating. Most of our customers are from the colony or the offices nearby. We know their names and what they usually like to order. It’s a lot of work and sometimes we get tired, but it’s a good kind of tired at the end of the day when everything is cleaned up.
