Our college is located in Venkatapur village, which falls under the Gatkesar area of Hyderabad. It’s one of those places that used to feel very far away, but now the city is slowly moving closer. We are still surrounded by a lot of greenery and open fields, though. If you’re coming from the city, it’s a bit of a journey down the highway. The campus itself is big and has plenty of room for all the engineering departments. We don't really do the whole corporate polished look. The walls have some wear, and the benches are well-used. It’s a place where work actually happens. Students come from all over, and many of them stay in the hostels nearby. Gatkesar has its own local shops and places to eat, so it feels like a small town within the bigger city limits. We spend our days dealing with schedules, lab experiments, and the occasional power cut. It’s just how it is out here. People are friendly and things move at a slightly slower pace than in the middle of Hyderabad. We focus on the basics—making sure there are enough chairs, that the computers are updated, and that everyone knows where their next class is. It’s a grounded kind of place. You won't find anything too fancy here, just a lot of people trying to learn and a staff that keeps things running as best as they can.
