Our office is right in the middle of Abids in Hyderabad. If you know the area, you know how crowded and busy it gets with all the shops and traffic. We’ve been sitting here for quite some time now. Most people come to us when they are thinking about taking a trip or need help with their tickets. It’s not a very large space, just enough room for a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while we look things up on the computer. Hyderabad is a big city, but Abids still feels like the heart of it for many of us. We spend our days checking flights and looking at different places people want to visit. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's just walk-ins from the street. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. It is just a place to get your travel stuff sorted without too much fuss. The tea stall nearby is where we usually get our breaks. It’s a bit noisy outside with the buses and autos, but once you’re inside, we can usually hear each other fine. We don't have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just open the doors in the morning and help whoever walks in with their travel plans until it's time to head home. The internet acts up sometimes but we manage to get the bookings done eventually. It’s just a normal travel desk.
