We are located in the Creative Kamal Complex, which is right across from Radhika Colony in West Marredpally. Our office is number 304. Secunderabad has its own vibe, and being here in Sec-Bad-26 feels right for what we do. At Countrywide Cabs Pvt Ltd, the phone is usually the loudest thing in the room. We have drivers coming in and out at all hours, dropping off keys or checking their schedules. The desks are a bit cluttered with logbooks and old maps of the city. It’s a third-floor walk-up, so we get our exercise every day. The view from the window is just the street below and the trees in the colony. It isn’t a high-end corporate lounge, just a functional space where we manage the cars. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down, which is a bit of a disaster for the night shift guys. We have a small bench outside the door where people wait sometimes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Most of the day is spent talking on the radio or checking where the nearest cab is. It’s a lot of coordination and hoping the traffic isn't too bad on the main roads. We just keep the wheels turning as best as we can from this little corner of Marredpally. It works for us and the crew who drive for us every day.
