Chefs Kitchen

This version of Chefs Kitchen is up on the 5th floor of the Babu Khan Estate in Basheerbagh. Being on the 5th floor is a bit different from having a shop on the street. You don't get many random people walking in from the sidewalk. Most of our customers are people who work in the building or in the offices nearby. They take the elevator up specifically to see us. It’s a big old building, and the Babu Khan Estate has a lot of history in this part of Hyderabad. We have a decent view of the city from up here, which is a nice perk when you’re taking a break. The kitchen itself is a bit tight on space, but we’ve figured out how to move around each other without bumping into things too much. Basheerbagh is a very central area, so it’s always busy outside, even if it feels a little quieter being five floors up. We spend our mornings getting everything ready before the office workers start their lunch breaks. It’s a lot of repetitive work, cutting vegetables and cleaning up, but that’s just the nature of the job. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. We just rely on the people in the building knowing we are here. It's a steady way to run a business. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and don't plan on moving.
