Chef In Dubai

Chef In Dubai is located right here in Hyderabad. The name might make you think of the desert, but we are firmly planted in the local streets of this city. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a kitchen-focused setup where the focus is on the food and the cooking process. You’ll mostly hear the sound of knives hitting cutting boards or the hiss of a stove. The air usually smells like spices or whatever is being prepped for the day. We are a small group of people who just really like the craft of being a chef. We spend a lot of time experimenting with flavors that remind us of Dubai but using what we can find in the local Hyderabad markets. It’s a bit of a messy job. There are always pots to be scrubbed and ingredients to be sorted. Our desks, if you can call them that, are usually covered in handwritten recipes and shopping lists. We aren't trying to be a fancy five-star place. We just want to make food that tastes right. Some days are long, starting early in the morning and going late into the night when we are cleaning up. It’s just us, the heat of the kitchen, and the work we have to do. We don’t do a lot of advertising. Most people find us by word of mouth or by smelling the food from the street.
