Celebrity Hospitality Services is run from our office in Hyderabad. The General Manager handles the operations from here, keeping an eye on the boutique hotels we manage. It’s a lot of juggling different things at once. One minute we are talking about laundry schedules and the next we are worried about the kitchen supplies. Hyderabad is a busy place for hotels, especially with all the people coming in for work or weddings. We try to make sure each place feels a bit different, not like those big chains where everything is the same. It takes a lot of effort to keep things running smooth behind the scenes. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking rooms and talking to the staff. Sometimes things break or guests have strange requests, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s not always glamorous work. There’s a lot of cleaning and fixing and making sure the bills are paid. We have a small team in the office who handles the bookings and the phone calls. The General Manager is usually busy in meetings or out at one of the properties. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we know the city pretty well. It’s just about getting through the day and making sure the hotels stay open and the guests have what they need, even when things get a bit hectic during the busy seasons of the year.
