C.C.E is based in Kilokari, which is a busy little pocket of New Delhi. Our setup is very simple and we don’t spend much on decorations. It’s just a place to work. The building isn't brand new, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it serves us well enough. Most of us who work here have been around for a long time. We don’t really follow a strict corporate handbook. If something needs doing, whoever is free just goes and does it. One day you might be filing papers and the next you are talking to a visitor at the door. Kilokari can be a bit crowded, so getting here in the morning takes some patience. We usually start the day with some chai and a quick chat about what needs to happen before evening. Our office is often full of folders and notebooks. We don't have a huge staff, so we all know each other well. It’s a noisy part of town, but once you’re inside, you sort of tune it out. We don’t use any fancy systems or have big meetings about goals. We just look at the tasks for the day and get through them one by one. It’s an honest way to spend the day. People find us mostly through word of mouth rather than advertisements. We just show up, do our thing, and go home to our families. It’s just a normal office in a normal part of the city.
