Cashier/Air Ticketing/Asst Manager/ Western Union

Our place is over at 8-2-750/A in Masab Tank. It’s a multi-tasking kind of setup here in Hyderabad. We do a bit of everything, from handling cash and Western Union transfers to sorting out air tickets. It can get pretty crowded because people come for different things. One person might be sending money abroad while the next one is trying to book a flight to Dubai or somewhere. The assistant manager usually sits in the back but helps out when it gets slammed. It’s not a big office, but we make use of the space we have. Sometimes the internet is slow and that makes things take longer, which is annoying for everyone involved. We’ve got a few desks and some chairs for people to wait. It’s a bit of a mix-and-match job. Dealing with currency and travel documents requires some focus, so we’re usually staring at screens a lot. Masab Tank is a central area, so there’s always noise from the street outside. We just keep at it throughout the day. People walk in with all kinds of questions. We try to give them straight answers and get their business done so they can go about their day. It’s a typical local business vibe. Nothing too complicated, just working through the queue as it comes. We’ve been at this address for a good while now and most regulars know us by name. There isn't much flair to the place, just a simple counter and some computers to get the work finished.
