Boomerang Restaurant & Bar is on Shivam Road in New Nallakunta. We’ve been here in this part of the 500044 area for quite some time now. It’s a straightforward setup where people can come for a drink and something to eat. We don’t have any of that polished corporate feel. The bar is made of wood, the chairs are sturdy, and the lights are a little dim. It’s the kind of place where you don’t have to dress up just to get a beer. Running a bar and restaurant has its ups and downs. Sometimes the kitchen gets backed up, or a delivery is late, but we manage to get things sorted out eventually. Most of our regulars are people from around New Nallakunta who have been coming here for years. They know where the bathrooms are and which table has the best view of the TV. We don’t put much effort into marketing. Word of mouth usually does the job for us. The street outside can get pretty congested during rush hour, so people often pop in just to wait out the traffic. We keep the snacks ready and the fridge cold. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just providing a spot on Shivam Road for people to spend an hour or two. It’s worked for us so far, and we like the people who visit. We just keep the glasses clean and the music playing.
