Ayesha Bricks

We are set up at 2-9-14 on Sikh Road in Bowenpally. It is a busy area and there is always some kind of noise from the street. We have a decent sized yard but it fills up fast when a new batch comes in. Most of our days are spent coordinating with drivers and making sure the piles are organized properly. It is a lot of physical work and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We do not have any air conditioning in the main work area, so we just drink a lot of water and keep the fans going. The office is small and usually has a thin layer of red dust on everything no matter how much we clean. That is just life when you work with bricks. We have a couple of guys who have been with us since we opened up. They are good people who do not complain much about the hard labor. Sometimes the orders get backed up and we have to work late into the evening. We do not have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. It is just a few of us making decisions as we go. If someone needs bricks, they usually just show up and talk to us directly. We like it that way because it keeps things simple. It is a straightforward business without any of the fancy talk you see in the big city businesses.
