Assistant Manager

I work out of H.No: 4-56 in the Vikasnagar area of Dilsukhnagar, right here in Hyderabad. Most people know this neighborhood for being crowded, but our little corner is usually alright once you get inside. My title is Assistant Manager, though most days it feels like I am just the person who makes sure the lights stay on and the paperwork doesn't fly away. The house is a standard building, nothing that stands out from the others on the street, but it works for what we need to do. I have a small desk near the window where I can see the traffic passing by. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we have a decent fan that keeps things moving. I spend a lot of my time answering emails and sorting through files that seem to pile up no matter how fast I work. It is not some fancy corporate office with glass walls and expensive coffee. We mostly drink tea from the shop down the lane, and we talk to the neighbors when we step out for air. It is a simple setup because that is all we really need to get the job done. Dilsukhnagar is a busy place, but once you find our door, it is just a normal workspace where we try to stay on top of everything. I like being here because it feels like a real part of the city. We have been here for years.
