As A Restaurant Hostess

Gollalapalem is a busy little area in Visakhapatnam. We’re located at Mig 2A 87 in Sriharipuram. Working as a hostess or running this place under that name is mostly about standing and greeting people. The humidity from the coast hits you as soon as you step outside, so we try to keep things cool indoors. It’s a simple setup. We have the guest book and the tables to manage. It isn’t a high-end luxury spot with velvet ropes. It’s just a place where people come to eat and we help them find a chair. Sometimes the rush is a bit much and we get a little flustered, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have any big speeches about our values. We just want to make sure the plates go to the right people and no one is waiting too long. The floor can get a bit slippery when it rains, so we have to watch out for that. We’ve been here at this address for a bit and we’ve seen all sorts of people come through the door. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don’t use any fancy technology, just our eyes and a bit of patience. Most days are fine, some are crazy, but we show up anyway. It can be tiring on the feet, but we like seeing the regulars who come by. It is just a normal life for us.
