Amm Pavers Block Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 74-9-12 in Khairatabad. We are situated right near Mira Hospitals, so there is usually a lot of activity and noise around our place. We spend our days mixing concrete and casting those heavy paving blocks that people use for their driveways and sidewalks. It’s a very hands-on process and we don’t have much in the way of automated machines. We mostly rely on our own strength to move the molds and stack the finished blocks in the yard. The space gets pretty cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. Sometimes the trucks coming in to pick up orders cause a bit of a backup on the street, but we try to work fast. We’ve been at this Khairatabad location for a while and have seen the area get more crowded over time. It’s not the cleanest work, as there’s always wet cement and stone dust around, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just walk into the yard and tell us what they need. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s just a regular local business run by people who aren't afraid of a bit of hard labor. We focus on making sure the blocks are sturdy enough for whatever project someone is working on.
