Akshaya Tiffins & Mess

Akshaya Tiffins & Mess is our small eating place in Dilsukhnagar. We are right beside Megha Theatre in Lalitha Nagar, at door number 9-36. It’s a busy spot, especially when a movie is letting out. We start early in the morning, getting the batter ready for idlis and dosas. It’s usually quite steamy in the kitchen, and there’s always the smell of sambar in the air. We aren't a big fancy restaurant. It’s more of a place where people can get a quick meal that tastes like home. We have a few tables, but a lot of people just stand and eat or take their food to go. We’ve been serving the local crowd here for a long time. Our mess gets pretty crowded during lunchtime when the office workers come in. It can be a bit chaotic with everyone shouting their orders, but we manage to get everyone fed. We don't use any fancy ingredients, just the regular stuff you'd find in any local kitchen. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we enjoy seeing the regular faces. We just try to keep the food hot and the place as clean as we can. It's a simple life, running a mess in Hyderabad at 9-36 Lalitha Nagar Beside Megha Theatre Dilsukhnagar. We stay open pretty late to catch the dinner crowd too, and the stove is almost always going.
