Airtel

Our shop is located on S.D. Road in Secunderabad, right in the middle of all the noise and traffic. We represent Airtel at this branch. It’s a small place, mostly just a front counter and a couple of computers where we help people with their phone lines. People come in all day with different problems. Some lost their phones, others can’t get their data to work. We just sit here and try to fix things one by one. It gets very busy around lunch time when people on their break stop by. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is good because Secunderabad gets very hot. We don't have a big corporate feel here despite the name. It’s just us staff trying to keep up with the questions. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. S.D. Road is always packed with cars and bikes. We spend a lot of time explaining plans and showing people how to use their new SIM cards. It’s a lot of the same stuff every day, but we meet a lot of different people. Some are nice, some are in a big hurry. We just do what we can. We aren't trying to be the best in the world, just trying to get the customers sorted so they can go about their day. We lock up at 8 and that’s us done. Most of us have been working here for quite a while now.
