Down here in Bhainsa, specifically in Puranabazar, things move at their own pace. This is where Ramprasadvyas and the rest of us work out of house number 2-3-42. It’s basically a local office set up under the care of Hariprasadvyas. We are advisers for ICICI, but we don’t have a big glass office in a high-rise. We are right in the heart of Adilabad district, surrounded by the usual market noise and the daily life of the town. People know where to find us when they have questions about their money or their accounts. We sit down with them, usually with some tea, and just talk through what they need. It’s more about being a neighbor who knows the rules than being some distant corporate person. The office is small and filled with files and some old wooden furniture. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, so we know most of the families around here. When the weather is good, we keep the doors open to let the air in. It gets dusty because of the bazaar nearby, so we are always wiping down the desks. It isn't a fancy setup, but it works for what we do. We just help people figure out their banking stuff without making it too complicated for them. That is basically our whole day from start to finish.
