Our little spot is at C-11/5 in the DAE Colony, which is part of the ECIL area in Hyderabad. It is a very residential kind of neighborhood. You often see kids playing in the street and people walking their dogs in the evenings. The office itself is quite small and tucked away from the main road. We call it "Yes" because it is short and easy for everyone to remember. Inside, we have a couple of wooden tables and a shelf full of old binders and paperwork. The paint on the front door is peeling a little bit at the bottom, but we haven't really bothered to fix it yet. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, which is nice when we need to focus on our tasks. Sometimes the water delivery guy forgets to stop by and we have to go out and get bottles ourselves from the shop. The light in the back room flickers if you turn the ceiling fan on the highest setting. It is just one of those little quirks you live with in an older building. We do not have any fancy furniture, just stuff we have picked up over the years. People from the colony sometimes drop by just to say hello or ask for directions to the main market. It feels very local and friendly. We usually keep the main door open to let some fresh air in during the afternoon hours. (252 words)
