My name is T. Vasavi Singh and I live here with my father, T. Karan Singh, in Paloncha. Our house is H.No. Bf.19 in the B.Colony area, which is right by the K.T.P.S power station. It’s a very specific part of the Khammam district in Andhra Pradesh. The company name "Yes" is what we use, but really it's more about the local activities we handle from our home. Living near a power station means the neighborhood has a certain feel to it, lots of workers and families connected to the plant. We spend our time managing local tasks and staying on top of whatever work comes our way. It’s a small-scale operation, very personal and direct. We don’t have a big office or a staff of dozens. It’s mostly just us handling things as they come. The days are usually warm, and the pace of life in Paloncha is steady but not rushed like in the big cities. We know our neighbors and we know the area well. When people need something done or want to talk about a local project, they know where to find us. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy promises. We just try to be helpful and do what we say we are going to do. It’s a quiet life in the colony, but there is always some work to keep us busy and engaged with the community.
