We operate out of apartment 305 in the Gayatri Gardens building, over in the Ameerpet area. It’s a very busy part of Hyderabad, mostly known for all the students and the small businesses that line the streets. K. Dhanvanthari and K.L. Swamy are the ones you’ll usually see around if you stop by. Managing big events from an apartment means there are always boxes of decorations or heavy folders lying around the living room. It’s not exactly a fancy showroom, more like a busy workshop where we plan everything out. Ameerpet is always buzzing with people, so there is never a quiet moment outside our balcony. We spend most of our time on the phone coordinating with different vendors or double-checking our equipment lists. The apartment complex is mostly full of families, so we try to keep things quiet when we have those late-night sessions before a big show. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up and we have to haul everything up the stairs, which is quite a workout. We’ve been doing this for a long time now and we’re used to the cramped space. When a big event is coming up, we have extra supplies tucked into every corner. It’s a humble setup, just a few of us working hard to get things sorted for the next gig. We know all the local shops around here for quick printing or a late lunch. It’s just how we work.
