Undergone

We work out of Flat No.945 A in Block No.9 of the Janapriya Quarters. This is in the Mohan Nagar area of Kothapet, Hyderabad. P.V. Swamy, the son of the late P.R.K. Rao, is the one who handles things here for Undergone. The quarters are always full of activity since so many people live in this complex. Our workspace is basically just one of the rooms in the flat where we have our computers and files. It’s a very simple setup with some basic wooden chairs and a couple of sturdy tables. We have some shelves where we keep our documents, though they tend to get a bit disorganized. The windows look out onto the other blocks of the quarters. In the evenings, you can hear kids playing outside and people chatting. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy to show we are a business. It’s just a normal apartment where we put in our hours every day. Sometimes the water supply in the building is a bit temperamental, but we’ve learned to deal with it. We usually grab lunch from one of the small shops nearby in Kothapet. It’s a busy part of the city but our specific block stays relatively calm. We’ve been here for a good amount of time and the routine feels very natural now. It’s just a small, local operation being run out of a residential space.
