Thomas Cook India Ltd has a branch at H.No 50 Lig Ii B.K.Guda in the Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar area of Hyderabad. It’s a busy spot in a busy city. The building is a typical house converted for work use, located in a pretty active neighborhood. You can always hear the traffic from the nearby roads and the general bustle of SR Nagar. Inside, the space is filled with desks that are usually covered in folders and stamps. We have an old air conditioner that makes a lot of noise but keeps the room from getting too humid during the Hyderabad summers. The walls are painted an off-white color that has yellowed a bit over the years. We have a small corner where we keep the tea supplies and a few packs of biscuits for the afternoon. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time talking and sorting out papers. There is no big corporate gloss here. The floor is tile and it gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby. We have some chairs for people to sit in while they wait, though they aren't the most comfortable things in the world. We are just a local team doing our thing in B.K. Guda. Most of us have been working here for a while, so we know the routine inside and out. It’s just a regular office where we get through the day's work and try to stay cool.
