The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace

This place is located at 222 Doyens Township in the Lingampally area of Hyderabad. It’s a bit of a trek out here compared to the city center, but it’s where we do our thing every day. Dealing with guests and keeping everything running takes up every bit of our time. The building is big, and there’s always something that needs fixing or a room that needs a quick once-over before the next person arrives. We aren't sitting around in fancy suits all day; most of the time we’re just making sure the laundry is done and the kitchen has what it needs. Hyderabad gets hot, and the air conditioning is probably the most important thing we look after. People come here for all sorts of reasons, some for work and some just passing through. We see a lot of faces, and honestly, it’s hard to remember them all after a while. The staff here is just a mix of local people from around the township and some who commute from further away in AP. It gets noisy during the lunch rush, and then it goes quiet for a few hours in the afternoon. We don’t have a script for how we talk to people; we just try to be helpful and get them what they need. It’s a lot of walking back and forth through the halls, making sure the place stays upright and functional for whoever is staying.
