The Ofen

We are located at 16C, Muthu Krishna Puram, on Second Street in Tuticorin. The name on the door is The Ofen. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to some of the main roads in town, which we appreciate. Our space is pretty straightforward. We don't have any big signs or neon lights. It’s just a place where we come every morning to get to work. Depending on the day, it can be quite busy or very slow. We spend a lot of time managing the day-to-day operations and making sure everything is in order. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. We have some old wooden furniture and a few plants that someone forgets to water occasionally. It feels like a local spot because that is exactly what it is. Most of the people working here grew up around this area. We know the shopkeepers on the street and the guy who sells tea at the corner. There isn’t a lot of corporate talk here. We just speak plainly and get the job done. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, but usually, we wrap up and head home to our families. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We focus on the tasks at hand and don’t worry too much about being the biggest or the most polished outfit in Tuticorin. We just want to do our part and keep things running smoothly for everyone who comes by.
