Teacher

I’ve been teaching for a while now. Most days you can find me around Ogety Street in Tadpatri at house 9/64. It’s a quiet spot, though things get busy when classes are on. Sometimes I’m staying over at the Renuka Mens Hostel in Dsnr, Hyderabad too. Being a teacher means a lot of commuting and keeping track of students in two different places. It isn’t always easy balancing the time between Tadpatri and the city. If people need to get a hold of me, my number is 9985521151. I usually answer if I’m not in the middle of a lesson. This isn't some big academy with fancy offices. It is just me working through the daily stuff. I spend a lot of time preparing notes and making sure I have everything ready for the next day. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we manage. People in the neighborhood know where to find me. The hostel in Hyderabad is convenient when I have work near Dsnr. It’s just a basic setup there, nothing fancy at all. Just a room and a place to keep my books. Teaching kids and adults takes up most of my day. I try to stay organized but with moving back and forth, my bag is always full of papers. It’s a simple life, just helping people learn what they need. I’ve been at this for years and it’s what I know. I also spend my weekends grading papers and planning for the week ahead.
