Taj Deccan Hotel, Hyderabad.

We are located at the Taj Deccan Hotel right on Road No. 1 in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. This is one of the busiest parts of the city and we have been here for a long time. The hotel sits on a nice bit of land in a very central area. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch about luxury or anything like that. We are just the people who work here and keep the place running. Whether it is the front desk or the rooms, there is always something to do. The traffic on Road No. 1 can be quite something during peak hours, but once you get inside the gates, it's a bit different. We have a lot of regular staff who have been with us for years. We know the city well and we know what people expect when they come to Banjara Hills. It’s not about being corporate; it’s about making sure the rooms are ready and the lights are on. We spend our days checking schedules and making sure the kitchen is moving. It's a big building and it takes a lot of effort to keep it going. We don't use much flowery language. We just call it Taj Deccan and we are here every day doing our shifts. It’s a landmark in Hyderabad, but for us, it is just our place of work where we try to stay busy and helpful to the people passing through.
