Systems Administrator

My name is Md.Zakeer Sharief, and I work as the Systems Administrator for the MIS Dept at the ITC ILTD Division. My workplace is in Chirala, specifically at the Post Box No-1 location in the Prakasam District. It’s a place with a lot of history, and the pin code here is 523157. My daily life is mostly spent around computers and servers, making sure the network doesn't go down. It is a very practical job. Chirala isn't a huge city, so the office has a very local feel to it. I spend a lot of time looking at screens and troubleshooting problems that pop up out of nowhere. It isn't a glamorous tech job like you see in the movies. It is more about making sure the data is stored correctly and the systems are running so everyone else can do their work. I have a small desk tucked away in the department where I keep my tools and manuals. The air conditioning is usually humming in the background to keep the equipment cool. I don't use a lot of big words to explain what I do. I just say I fix things when they break. It is a quiet kind of work that requires a lot of patience. People come to me when their computer won't start, and I just do what I can to help.
