Sutherland Global Services Chennai

We are over at Bn311 in Balaram Nagar, which is in the Safilguda area near the Malkajgiri Post in Hyderabad 47. Sutherland Global Services Chennai is the name, but this is the spot where we operate from. It is a bit of a trek for some of the staff, but most of us live in this part of Hyderabad anyway. The office is set up for the kind of work where you spend a lot of time on the phone and the computer. It’s not a quiet place, as there is always someone talking or the sound of typing in the background. We have our desks lined up and the wires are everywhere, which we try to keep tidy but it's a constant battle. We don't have any big corporate mission posters on the walls, just some notes about the schedule and who is on the late shift. It’s a practical environment for people who just want to get their work done and then go home. We have a small area for taking breaks and drinking tea, which is where most of the actual news gets shared. Safilguda is a busy enough place, and we have been here for a while now, so we are part of the local scenery. We don't try to impress anyone with how the place looks; we just focus on doing the tasks we are supposed to do every day. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have fans.
