Srilankan Airlines

We work out of Flat No 311 in Brindavan Apartments. It’s right in the Lakdi-Ka-Pul area of Hyderabad, which is a pretty central spot to be. Even though we are an airline, this specific office is where we do a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff like ticketing and customer support. It’s an apartment building, so it doesn't feel like a big airport terminal or anything like that. We have our desks and computers set up in the rooms, and that is where we spend our eight hours a day. We get a lot of calls about flight times and baggage rules. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and it can get a bit hectic in such a small space. We try to keep everything organized, but with so many bookings, the paperwork can pile up on the desks. Lakdi-Ka-Pul is always crowded with traffic, so we hear the horns honking outside all day long. It's just a normal part of working in this part of Hyderabad. We aren't the ones flying the planes, of course; we just handle the logistics and the people side of things from this apartment. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when all the staff are in at once, but we make it work somehow. We just focus on getting the tickets confirmed and helping people with their travel plans from our little office here. It's a lot of screen time and talking, but we get the job done.
