Skyways Travel Service

Our little shop for Skyways Travel Service is over at 19-2-25/A/4/B in the Sattar Bagh area of Jahanuma. If you know South Hyderabad, you know it’s a place full of life and very narrow streets. Jahanuma can get really crowded, especially on Fridays or during any festival. We’ve been operating from this Hyderabad-053 address for years. It’s a small space, mostly just enough for a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we look up their travel details. The walls are covered with old calendars and a few maps. We don’t have air conditioning that works all the time, so we keep the door open to get a bit of a breeze, even if it brings in the dust from the road. The tea from the cafe across the street is what keeps us going through the long afternoons. Most of our work is helping neighbors and local families with their tickets and passports. We know the people around here by name. It’s not like those big agencies in the malls. Here, we deal with things face to face. The traffic outside is always buzzing with rickshaws and motorbikes. Sometimes it’s so loud we have to shout over the phone. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s our daily reality. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just a local travel service helping out the folks in Sattar Bagh.
