Sarovar Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts

I am Maheswaran and I am usually around the Thanga Pondy Mansion here on Choolaimedu High Road. We are right across from the Rajgopal Karodia School, so it gets quite noisy when the kids are finishing their classes for the day. This part of Chennai is always moving. We are part of the Sarovar Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts group, but our daily life is just about keeping this specific spot running. The mansion has its own character, even if it is not the newest building on the block. We spend a lot of time dealing with the humidity and the city traffic right outside our doors. It is a practical location for people who need to be in the heart of Chennai. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy stuff. Our focus is just on the rooms and the people staying in them. I usually check the maintenance schedules myself to make sure everything is working. The staff here have been around for a long time and they know how things work. We see a lot of different people, from workers to families visiting relatives. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes with the parking on the high road, but we manage. It is just an honest day's work for us. We don't try to be something we aren't. Just a place to stay in Choolaimedu for whoever needs it.
