Sakshi Daily

Our office is located at 6-3-609/1A in Anand Nagar Colony, which is right in the Khairathabad area of Hyderabad. It’s a very central location, so there is always a lot of movement around us. Being a daily newspaper office for Sakshi Daily, things can get pretty hectic. We have stacks of old papers everywhere and the desks are always cluttered with notes and pens. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned workspace with narrow corridors and fluorescent lights that sometimes flicker. You can hear the sound of typing and people talking on phones almost all the time. We don’t have any fancy lounge areas or modern art on the walls. It’s just a place built for work. The building itself has been part of the colony for a long time. In the afternoons, the sun shines through the windows and makes the whole place feel very warm. We have a small pantry where we make tea and sometimes share snacks. It’s a very social atmosphere because we are all working so close together. Even when it’s stressful, there’s a sense of being right in the middle of everything. We spend our days chasing stories and making sure the pages are ready. It’s a lot of manual effort and long hours, but that’s just the nature of the job. It feels very real and grounded here in Anand Nagar Colony. We keep a few extra copies of the morning paper on the front desk.
