Room Service

Our spot is at House Number 27-149 in Gandhinagar. Being in Balanagar, we see a lot of local traffic and people just going about their day. Hyderabad is getting bigger every day, but our little corner feels familiar. We handle things related to rooms and staying, mostly just making sure things are in order for whoever needs them. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a big neon sign or anything like that. The house is just a normal one, and we work out of a part of it. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but that’s just how it is here. We start early in the morning because that’s when most people need help. We drink a lot of chai to keep going throughout the day. There’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the keys are where they should be. It isn't a fancy corporate office with glass walls and uniforms. We have some wooden chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. People stop by to ask if there’s space or how things work. We tell them straight and don’t try to sugarcoat anything. If a room is ready, it’s ready. If not, they have to wait. It’s just us doing the daily grind in 500054, trying to keep everyone’s stay decent and quiet. It's a very practical way to run a small local operation.
