Restaurant Manager

The restaurant is right near the New Ashoka Model School here in Kot Kapura. I am the manager, and my day usually starts by checking if the kitchen is ready and if the supplies arrived on time. The address is H.No.1141/2, right on Bathinda Road. It is a good spot because of the school, but it gets very loud when the kids get out of class. The road is always dusty too. I spend most of my time walking between the front tables and the back kitchen, making sure nobody is waiting too long. The floor has a few scratches from moving chairs around and the light in the back hallway flickers sometimes. We do not have a fancy menu with big words, just regular food that people in Kot Kapura like to eat. It is a lot of work keeping track of everything, like the vegetable deliveries and the cleaning schedule. My staff is mostly local guys who live nearby. We have a small TV in the corner that is usually on the news. Sometimes the stove acts up and I have to call the repair guy from down the street. It is not a glamorous job, but it keeps me busy. I like the regulars who come in and sit in the same booth every day. We do not do much advertising, we just keep the doors open and hope for a good lunch crowd. It is just a normal local eatery.
