Receptionist:Telecaller

Our small office is at H:No:12-2-81 in Murad Nager, which is right in the Mehdipatnam area of Hyderabad. It is a busy place with a lot of people moving around outside. We focus mostly on answering calls and talking to people all day long. The phones never really stop ringing from the time we open until we head home. It is a bit noisy because of the traffic on the main road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a few desks set up and some basic headsets that we use. The job is mostly about being patient and listening to what people need. Sometimes the lines are bad and we have to call back. We drink a lot of water and tea to keep our voices going. Mehdipatnam is a central spot, so it is easy for us to get to work, even if the buses are crowded. We do not have a big corporate setup. It is just a few of us in a room making sure the communication stays open. We try to be helpful when people call in with questions. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. The office is plain, but it serves its purpose well. We just keep at it, one phone call at a time, every single day until the clock says it is time to go.
