Receptionist

This is our place in Sainagar, Anantapur. The address is D.No. 12/2/692 and it is part of B. Sivasankar Reddy’s property. We are out here in Andhra Pradesh where the summers get really hot. The office is simple and we mostly handle the people who walk in the door needing help or information. It is a receptionist setup, so there is always someone sitting at the front desk. We do a lot of writing in ledgers and checking documents. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the big cities, but we still have our busy hours. We have a ceiling fan that runs all day to keep the heat away. People from the local area know where we are. We do not have any digital screens or fancy lobby music. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of patience. Most of the work is routine, but every now and then someone comes in with a problem that takes all morning to fix. We just take it as it comes. It is a steady job and we are glad to be working in our own town. We keep the place clean and make sure the files are in the right order. That is pretty much what goes on here from Monday to Saturday. It is not complicated, but it is important to the people who stop by.
