Radisson Sas Hotel, Muscat,Oman

This is our administrative spot in Hyderabad. It might seem a bit odd because the name mentions Muscat and Oman, but we handle a lot of the background stuff right here in India. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got a few old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them and some posters of the hotel on the walls to remind us what we are working for. The address says "Ap. India" which is just how things got registered over time. We are right in the thick of Hyderabad, so it's always noisy outside with the traffic and people shouting. Inside, we just sit at our desks and deal with the paperwork and the emails that come in from the gulf. It’s a lot of data and keeping track of names and dates. We have a small table in the corner where we keep the water cooler. Sometimes we bring in snacks from the market down the street to share during the afternoon slump. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that because we aren't the hotel itself, just the people making sure things move along behind the scenes. It's practical work. We don't wear suits unless there's a really important meeting. Mostly it's just shirts and trousers and getting through the pile of folders on our desks. It’s a long way from Oman, but we stay connected through the work we do every day. We usually close up early on Sundays to rest.
