You probably would not expect to find a cruise company office in the middle of Kachiguda, but here we are at 2-4-628/58 in Sunder Nagar. Hyderabad is a long way from any ocean, which always makes for an interesting conversation when people stop by the office. Our space is in a regular building in a very busy neighborhood. Sunder Nagar has its own charm, though the traffic can be a nightmare during the evening rush hour. We spend our days looking at maps of the sea and booking cabins while the heat of Hyderabad beats down outside. It is a small space, nothing like the giant ships we represent. There are just a few of us here, surrounded by brochures of tropical islands and blue water. We handle the bookings and the endless questions from people who want to get away for a while. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment at all. We just talk to folks and try to figure out their travel dates. Sometimes the internet is a bit patchy and we have to wait for the booking pages to load, but we always get it done eventually. The local tea stalls are our usual haunts for our afternoon breaks. It is a bit strange to think about luxury cruises while sitting in a dusty office in Kachiguda, but it works for us. We are just doing the paperwork to make the trips happen.
