Pizza Hut

We aren't at a regular storefront with a big sign and a red roof. This is the office side of things located at Flat 302 in Maphar Castle. It’s in Ayodya Nagar, over in the Mehdipatnam area of Hyderabad. Most people know this part of town for the heavy traffic and the big markets nearby. We’re tucked away in a residential building, so it’s actually much quieter than the main road outside. The 3rd floor isn't too bad to get to every day. We handle a lot of the administrative work for the Pizza Hut operations from this room. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and stacks of papers. It’s definitely not a place where you come to sit down and eat, just a place where we get the management work done. There are a few of us here every day, making sure the schedules and supplies for the stores are all accounted for. The building, Maphar Castle, is pretty well known in this lane. We don't have any fancy decorations or anything on the walls. It’s just a plain, functional office. Sometimes we order food in ourselves because we’re too busy to go out for lunch. Mehdipatnam is a busy hub, so being a little bit back from the street helps us stay focused on the tasks. It’s a very ordinary workplace. We just try to keep things organized so the restaurants can do their thing. No corporate jargon here, just a crew working in a regular Hyderabad apartment.
